BIO
Katia Lifshin (b. 1993, Ukraine) is an Israeli artist whose work explores the boundaries between the human body, the natural world, and the subconscious. Drawing inspiration from natural phenomena such as bioluminescence and spiral tree trunks, she creates psychologically charged, surreal landscapes influenced by dreams, emotional memory, and altered perception. Lifshin studied art for three years at a community college in Tucson, Arizona, and continued developing her practice independently as a self taught artist, shaping a distinctive and personal visual language. Lifshin has exhibited internationally, including solo shows in New York, London, Berlin, and Taipei.
